Classroom support professionals work in partnership with the teacher to carry out the classroom vision and daily learning experiences. Individuals typically support instructional activities in the classroom and assist with non-instructional tasks like cleaning, naps, feedings and outdoor play.

The cooperative teacher is a model educator for the classroom support professional (CSP) who is completing the Classroom Ready program. This person works with participants to provide field experiences that align with the Classroom Ready program modules and support their scope of work.
